Rose Marion: Writing, Editing, & Graphic Design

Rose Marion
Sleuth Design is freelance copywriter and designer Rose Marion, physically located in Ogden, Utah.
I'm an aspiring book designer or editor or somethingrather, presently enthralled during the day by my position at an online jewelry supply company, maintaining & coordinating store content, marketing, and social media platforms.
I have experience in editing, writing, layout, and I would love to try typesetting. I love the whole design process, from careful planning, to designing, to printing, to a finished product. I graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2009.
I love the graphic styles of Papaya!, Bob's Your Uncle, and Susan Kare--but I'm willing to try anything!
I'm madly in love with the writing style of J. Peterman and I think Tom Hoobyar had some mind-blowing ideas about writing for businesses, as well as about life in general.
I love knitting, and I'm exploring the wonders of Ravelry and my LYS (local yarn shop). I'm exploring combining knitting techniques with wire jewelry techniques, another budding hobby of mine.
I also love playing the viola, playing tennis, and reading mysteries and short stories.
Primarily, I'm a writer; I can write:
I'm also available to edit any of the above projects, as well as essays, grant applications, jewelry patterns, and basic knitting patterns. I'm familiar with AP, MLA, and APA styles.
Design-wise, I'm handy with Photoshop, Illustrator, and mega-pro at InDesign. I love designing business cards and marketing materials (like Etsy banners) for small businesses. I'm fluent in HTML, XHTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, and email marketing programs like Infusionsoft and MailChimp.
Any of this tickle your fancy? Just send me an email at rose@sleuthdesign.com and let's get started.
